Bring A Friend To Church
Pastor Barry Henck has been pastor at Unionville Church since July 1, 2025. He was appointed to Unionville in response to the congregation's "wish list" of gifts we were seeking in a Pastor. We have been excited to see all his many gifts unfold in the life of our church!
Born in Upstate New York, Barry Henck earned a BA from Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts, and MA in English Literature from the State University of New York at New Paltz.
Barry appreciates the multicultural aspect of the Body of Jesus Christ. He developed a passion for teaching and pastoral care while volunteering as part of a Korean-American congregation in Highland, NY.
Barry left a career in marketing and communications in 2016 when he and his wife followed the Lord’s lead to relocate to Pittsburgh. Within a few weeks of arriving, Barry began volunteering at Roots of Faith, a ministry center of Faith United Methodist Church (Fox Chapel, PA). He answered a call to pastoral ministry and completed Clergy Licensing School in 2019. He was appointed to the Herminie United Methodist Church (Greensburg District) in 2021.
