Dear Friends,

I feel compelled today to ask for prayer over our young people. There is such pressure out there for them to conform to the world’s views. So many are struggling with anxiety and mental breakdowns and illnesses. Addiction in many forms whether it be drugs or alcohol or harming oneself is ever increasing. They are participating in things that go against what they know to be right, in order to be part of the masses, in order to fit in. Their view of self is distorted and they disrespect themselves as well as others. On the flip side of what we see as wrongs is those who are pressured by the need for perfection and the need to achieve at the highest levels, leaving them stressed and anxious. Kids are forced to grow up too quickly with knowledge they are too young to fully comprehend.

Please join with me in prayer that our young people not only know who they are but whose they are, that they are children of God. That the one who is in them is greater than the one who is in the world. Pray that they will recognize the enemy in his many forms and not allow him a foothold in their lives. Pray for an ever increasing faith and relationship with Jesus Christ. Pray that families will be in the word and in prayer together. Pray that all will recognize that they are sons and daughters of the Most High King and they have nothing to fear because they are His!

Amen

Blessings,

Linda Miller
